| HEALTH GUARANTEES |
Hightest Kennels guarantees the health of the puppy for 7 days after it leaves the kennel. We recommend
that the puppy be examined by a veterinarian and a vaccination schedule be arranged during this time. Puppies
determined to be defective or sick should be returned to the kennel as soon as possible for a full refund of the
purchase price. The purchaser will be responsible for the transportation or cost of shipping the dog back to the
kennel. If the owner elects to have the dog treated by a veterinarian for sickness or disease during the seven days
in which the guarantee is in effect, the purchase price will be refunded or the vet bill paid up to the purchase price
of the dog, whichever is less. Hightest does not guarantee the ability or suitability of the dog to reproduce or be
used for breeding. Puppies are not guaranteed for accidental injury, death or theft. Hightest Kennels will not be
responsible for vet expenses incurred exceeding the value of the dog.
Hip Dysplasia
Hightest Kennels guarantees the dog to have hip conformation satisfactory for it to function as a normal hunting dog up to the age of two years. The purchase price of the dog will be refunded upon the return of the dog to Hightest Kennels, and/or upon providing a certificate of euthanasia or hip repair surgery by a veterinarian.
Hightest must be used as a part of the AKC registered name of the dog and the registration papers must be returned to Hightest for this guarantee to be honored.
P.R.A. & Retinal Dysplasia
Hightest Kennels guarantees the dog’s eyes to be free of both Progressive Retinal Atrophy and Retinal
Dysplasia for up to two years of age. The purchase price of the dog will be refunded after examination by a veterinary ophthalmologist confirming the dog is effected and the dog is returned to Hightest or upon providinga certificate of euthanasia by aveterinarian. Hightest must be used as part of the AKC registered name of the dog
and the registration papers must be returned to Hightest for this guarantee to be honored.
Hightest Kennels will not be financially responsible for expenses incurred or losses due to property damage,
accidental injury, sickness or death of other pets and/or persons resulting from contact with the puppy. |

| DEPOSIT TERMS |
Puppy deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE unless a healthy puppy of the preferred color and sex is unavailable in the litter your deposit is assigned to. If a puppy is unavailable you will be notified by telephone within a week after the litter is born. At that time you may decide to transfer your deposit to a future litter of similar breeding or have it refunded.
If a puppy of your preferred sex and color is available for you, we will notify you by mail shortly after the birth of the litter as to date of birth, number of each sex born, colors and a pickup date. Puppies are released at 6 weeks old. Approximately a week before the pickup day you will be notified by phone of a time to pick out and pick up your pup. The outstanding balance is due at the time of pick up. We try to arrange to have everyone select their puppy in the order deposits were received, but we cannot guarantee it. If you are unable to come at the appropriate time on pick up day, we will select the puppy for you according to your specifications. Puppies not picked up within 2 days of the pickup date will incur a boarding charge of $20.00 per day. We feel the time between 6 -8 wks. is a critical bonding time for the puppy with the family and advise you to pick up your puppy on time. |
